Infill Housing Tiny Homes
Definition: Infill housing...the insertion of additional housingunits into an already-approved subdivision or neighborhood. They can be provided as additional units built on the same lot.
The cities of Fresno and San Luis Obispo have amended their Accessory Dwelling Unit ordinance to allow for Moveable Tiny Houses to be placed in a backyard or side yard that meets specific zoning guidelines.
This one change to the ordinance opens the door to investors looking to create affordable housing in addition to what traditional developers and cities have been doing. Flipping houses is not new. With HGTV, DIY, etc. flipping houses has become a form of entertainment
On any given day there are countless house flips going on around the US.
And yet to our knowledge there have been no House flips that include leaving behind a Tiny Home...until now.
Experience Tiny Homes has four successful flips under our belt and when we heard of the Cities of Fresno and San Luis Obispo legalizing Moveable Tiny Homes as Accessory Dwelling Units, our wheels got turning.
We thought how great would it be to put our expertise to use to not only rehabilitate a funky house situation but to leave behind a beautiful affordable home.
We are looking for investors with a minimum of $10,000 capital to invest in buying houses in need of repair and who fit the requirements for Moveable Tiny Houses to be added in the backyard. We are looking in the areas of Fresno and San Luis Obispo area and are open to going to Los Angeles and San Diego as soon as their governing body approves Moveable Tiny Houses as ADU's.
