What is a design sprint? The best way for you and the builders that will be working with you to figure out your design is to create it. Do I need to know CAD or Sketch Up? No, we are going to make it simple and use google presentation (you will need a google account). With this we can start laying down the big items (What I call big rocks...you know the size of your trailer, loft/no loft, bathtub or shower, size of kitchen, etc.) What else do I need to add to my design so a builder knows what I want? In addition to your line drawing design, it is best to have what we call the Materials Vision Board. This includes the materials and appliances you choose to be part of your Tiny Home. Full size/mini fridge, insulation, size of trailer, roofline, etc. all makes a difference on how your Tiny Home is built and how much it will cost to build. |
